The average lifespan of a llama is about 20 years.

Llamas come in many colors and shades of whites, browns, blacks, and reds.  Their fur is sometimes one color, but they are usually spotted or multi-colored.

Llamas do sometimes spit.  It is how one llama tells another llama to 'Bug off, buster!"

Llamas communicate by humming.  When they are scared, they let out a high-pitched warning whine.
